Is it bad to never sleep?

If you do not need much sleep, or you feel like you do not is this bad for you?
I go to bed at about 3am, get to sleep like an hour later and then wake up at 6 or 7! I could then go back to sleep, but feels like no point.
I have been an insomniac in the past and its awful, panic attacks… sleep paralysis… all that
but I have conditioned myself to survive of almost no sleep whatsoever. will it catch up with me?
I mean I really like the extra time! but could it be effecting my health?

Why would you need to stay awake until 3 a.m.?Maybe you should re-train yourself to go to sleep earlier. Try 12 a.m. It will take a while to change your sleep patterns. I used to be a bartender and when I changed jobs I found that I was missing out on life. Most of life”occurs” during daylight hours. As for your health, I’m surprised you haven’t gotten sick yet (or have you?) Most of my employees that stay up all night and get little sleep are constantly calling in sick or have no energy. Try to change your hours, little by little. I’ll bet you notice that you feel better when you do.
